Kelly Lynn Richards

Kelly Lynn Richards, 41, Amarillo, also known professionally as Kelly Fink in her tattoo artistry business, went to be with the Lord on December 30, 2018.

Memorial services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 3, at Paramount Baptist Church, 3800 Western Street. Arrangements are by Lighthouse Funeral Services.

Kelly was born on August 8, 1977, in Des Moines, Iowa. She moved to Amarillo in 1989 and attended Amarillo High. Kelly was a premiere tattoo artist in Amarillo and was widely admired for her exquisite designs and use of color in creating beautiful works of art on skin. She was a featured artist in at least eight national magazines and was twice a finalist to appear on the "Inkmasters" TV show. She was co-owner of the Music Box Body Art Studio in Amarillo.

She was the loving mother of son Ryden Fox Richards and daughter Cricket Rickman of Amarillo. She is survived by her mother, Alana Velasquez, and stepfather, Benjamin Velasquez. She is also survived by brother David Richards and wife, Sarah, of Nashville, stepsisters Crystal Fuston and husband Billie of Turkey, Texas, Chanda White and husband, Marty, of Lubbock, stepbrother David Velasquez and wife, Angi, of Amarillo, and by grandmother Gwen Ornell of Duluth, Minnesota, along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Richards, and grandfather, Allen Ornell.
