Phillip Edward Durham, Jr., 79, of Midland, Texas passed away on Monday, January 1, 2018, in Dallas, Texas. A visitation and celebration of life will begin at 6:00 pm at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home on Sunday, January 7, 2018 with a Rosary to follow at 7:00 pm. Services will be at 10:00 am at St. Luke's United Methodist Church on Monday, January 8, 2018. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.

Phill was born on October 5, 1938, in Chillicothe, Texas to Phillip Nathan Durham and Sula Mauser Durham.

Phill graduated from Southwestern Oklahoma State University in 1959 with a degree in Pharmacy. He married his high school sweetheart, Jeanette Nippert, the same year. On December 17, 2017, they celebrated 57 years of marriage.

Phill was a Pharmacist for forty years and owned and operated D&S Pharmacy with two of his lifelong friends Ray Doherty and Bud Karr. Phill retired in 1995 and then moved to Midland, Texas where he spent time with his four grandchildren in Midland and his three grandchildren in Queen Creek, Arizona. He loved sports and was an avid fan when his grand kids were playing on the court, field or arena.

Phill also enjoyed the great outdoors and loved traveling to his two ranches to hunt and relax with family and friends.

He is survived by his wife Jeanette Durham, his son Trey Durham, Trey's wife, Veronica and their children, Phillip, Tyler and Aubrie as well as his daughter's family Deanie Downing ,her husband Lawrence and their children Riley Ann, Dos, Camille and Caroline. He is also survived by his brother Marc Durham and sister Donna Lawler. Phill was preceded in death by his son Blake Durham.
