Beverly Ann Greeson

Beverly Ann Greeson, 71, of Amarillo, died Monday, October 23, 2017. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Thursday at First Family Church, 6101 Bell St. with Pastor Jerad Middaugh, pastor of Southlawn Assembly of God Church officiating. Burial will be at Llano Cemetery. Beverly was born February 6, 1946 in Altus, Okla. to Elmer and Dollie Catron. She married Walter Greeson in 1962 at Clovis, NM. They have lived in Amarillo for over 50 years, and recently celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary. Beverly worked for AISD for many years as a teacher's assistant, most recently was at Austin Middle School. Beverly adored her grandkids and great-grandkids. She became "MaMa Bev" to many nieces and nephews as well. She will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her husband, Walter Greeson; a daughter, Cynthia Hovanec and husband Tom of Amarillo; two sons, Jeffrey Greeson and wife Celena of Ardmore, Okla, and Terry Greeson and wife Kelly of Broken Arrow, Okla; a brother, Lynn Catron and wife Connie of Amarillo; two sisters, Sandra McNatt and husband Homer of Alvarado, and Karen Gore and husband Jack of Amarillo; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm today at the funeral home.
