Ricardo Cano Obituary

Ricardo Cano, 33, passed away Friday, February 12, 2021.
Born in Michigan, Ricardo moved to Vinton at the age of 12 and has resided in Southwest Louisiana for the last 21 years. He had a gift for working with his hands; he enjoyed using his mechanical skills to work on cars, 4-wheelers, and anything with an engine. Ricardo's carpentry talent was used to restore and build homes in residential construction. He enjoyed riding his 4-wheeler and joking around. Ricardo was happiest when he had all of his children and family members together. He loved to make people laugh and see others happy.
Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Jose and Gracie Cano; brother, Jose Cano Jr. and his wife Amanda; sister, Krystal Cano; six children, Ky`Asia Malvo, Bryonna Cano, Brayden Cano, Isabella Cano, Prince Cano and Gabriel Cano; maternal grandmother, Maria Garcia; paternal grandmother, Juanita Cano; uncles, Freddy Garica, Val Garcia, Sammy Garcia, Luis Cano and Monico Cano.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Senovio Garica; and uncle, Jose Garcia.
The family will honor Ricardo's wishes and no services will be held. Cremation has been entrusted to Miguez Funeral Home.
