MCFADDEN, Violet May 9/9/1924 - 10/18/2017 N Ft Myers, FL passed at 93 in N Ft Myers, FL, born in Dundee, MI. Daughter of Earl and Elva Lidster. In her formative years she lived in Dundee and graduated from Dundee High. During WWII (1943-1945) Violet was mainly employed by Willow Run Bomber Plant, Ypsi., MI. May 1946, she married her teenage sweetheart John W McFadden and had 3 children. Her formal education was in nursing and achieved the certification of LPN in psychiatric nursing at Ypsi. Regional Hosp. where she retired after 30 yrs of service. Violet and her husband, relocated to Cape Coral, FL 1982. Violet loved biking, gardening, and cruising with her husband and family. Survivors, son Gary McFadden (Karen) Lillington, NC, daughters Carolyn Whittaker (Keith) Milan, MI, Kathy Miller, Cape Coral, FL , 6 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, sister, brother, many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death, husband, 3 sisters, 1 brother. Private ceremony at sea on Florida coast. Arrangements by Nat. Cremation Society.

Aunt Violet was a fun person to be around. Our family had many great annual vacations together. Some of my fondest childhood memories. Her children, Gary, Carolyn, and Kathy are like my own siblings.
