Dyk, Susan M. 12/14/1954 - 12/1/2017 Dexter, Michigan Susan M. Dyk, of Dexter, Michigan, age 62, passed away at her home on Friday, December 1, 2017. She was born on December 14, 1954, in Detroit, MI, the daughter of Walter and Doris (Brenneman) Foglia. Susan had lived in the area since 1997 and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Dexter. On October 29, 1990, she married Richard "Dick" Dyk in Wixom, MI, and he survives. Also surviving are her children: Edward Cornelius (Cheryle) Dyk of Kentwood and Debra Ann (Benjamin) Hennip of Wayland; four grandchildren: Melody, Alexander, Peter, and Anika; her sister, Denise (Louis) Henry of Georgia; and her siblings-in-law: Rachel (David) Ver Hoef of Holland, MI, Charles (Donna) Dyk of Hudsonville, and Esther Dyk of Wyoming, MI. She was preceded in death by her parents. Mass of Christian Burial will be prayed at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 4, 2017, at the St. Joseph Village Church, 3430 Dover St., Dexter, with Fr. Brendan Walsh officiating. The family will receive friends at the Staffan-Mitchell Funeral Home, Chelsea, on Sunday from 5-8 p.m. with Scripture Service at 7:00 p.m., and at the church on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will take place at Arlington National Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the ALS Association Michigan Chapter, 675 E. Big Beaver Road, Suite 207, Troy, MI 48083.
