Funeral services for Mr. Billy Gene Andrews, 80, of Anniston, will be at 11 am on Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at K.L. Brown Memory Chapel in Golden Springs with Dr. Roland Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mr. Andrews passed away on February 14, 2021.
Mr. Andrews graduated from Alexandria High School. He had retired from Lee Brass after 48 years where he was a master pattern maker. Mr. Andrews was a lifelong resident of Calhoun County. He touched many lives and influenced young men as a coach for youth baseball for 23 years. Mr. Andrews also was a fan of University of Alabama football. RTR!
Mr. Andrews is preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Jayne Andrews; his mother, Lona Andrews; a brother, Bobby Andrews; and a sister, Dulcie Gains.
He is survived by his sons, Rory Andrews and his wife, Dawn, Chris Andrews and his wife, Michele, and Marty Andrews and his wife, Allison; grandchildren, Scott, Zach, Katelyn (Kyle), Nickolas (Abby), Jonathan, Haley, and Nylah; and one great grandchild, Asher.
In accordance with the state-mandated health order, guests to the services are kindly asked to wear masks and maintain social distancing.
