Constance "Connie" Gleason, age 74, of Alexandria, Alabama passed away on Tuesday, May 4, 2021. "Connie" was born December 1, 1946 in AL. "Connie" is survived by daughter Catina Kelley; sons James Ramsey (Linda); and Troy Gleason (Sherry); grandchildren Joshua Hamby, Phillip Decker (Anna), Alana Smith (Chase), Hunter Fulmer (Cody), Breanna Gleason (Karey), great grandchildren Taylor Hamby, Greenlee Hamby, Tara Hamby, Hannah Hamby, Jessica Hamby, Noah Decker, Lucas Decker, Colton Smith, Hudson Smith, Hayden Fulmer, Autumn King, Jaxon Gleason, Marcus Kelley and several nieces and nephews. "Connie" was preceded in death by her husband Charles Gleason; parents James and Cecile Bolt; sister Theresa Gleason. Funeral services for "Connie" will be Friday, May 7. 2021 at 2:00 PM at Gray Brown Service Mortuary with Rev. Larry Bollinger officiating. Burial will follow at Post Oak Baptist Cemetery in Alexandria, Al. The family will receive friends Thursday, May 6, 2021 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 at the funeral home. Serving as pallbearers are Donny Johnson, Randall Johnson, Cody Fulmer, Chase Smith, Marshall Kelley and Dillion Vincent.
"Connie" was a lifelong resident of Calhoun County and a member of Post Oak Baptist Church. She was a local entrepreneur with 23 years of service with FMC. She enjoyed fishing and loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. She was loving mother and grandmother whom will be greatly missed.
