Obituary

Funeral service for Douglas Lorenzo Anderson, 63, will be Monday, November 25, at 1pm at the 16th and Noble Street Church of Christ with Bro. Marvin Jones, officiating. Mr. Anderson passed away on November 16, 2019. Mr. Anderson's remains will arrive at the church one hour prior to his service. He graduated from Anniston High School 1974 and Gadsden State Technical College, he served in the Marine Corp and was an Anniston fireman. Survivors include his mother: Elma (Charles, Sr.) Vincent; his father: Billy L. (Dorothy) Tippins; siblings: Webster Anderson, Donte (Fay) Vincent, Charles Vincent, Jr., Christopher Vincent, Clifford Ball Tippins, Billy Tippins Jr, Yolanda Mcneese, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his son, Douglas, Jr.
