The funeral services for Mr. Frank Robert "Bobby" Dale, 77, of Weaver, will be at 2 pm on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at K.L. Brown Memory Chapel in Golden Springs with Marcus Strickland officiating. Burial will follow at Anniston Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Mr. Dale passed away on May 7, 2021 at his home. Mr. Dale was a native of Morganton, NC. He served his country with honor and retired from the United States Army after over 20 years of service. He was awarded the Army Commendation Medal, Overseas Service Bars, Overseas Service Ribbon, Meritorious Service Medal, the Army Service Ribbon, the Army Good Conduct Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, the Vietnam Service Medal, the Vietnam Gallantry Cross, the NCO Professional Development Ribbon, the Soldiers Medal, and the Vietnam Campaign Medal. Mr. Dale went on to work for Honewell Aerospace and retired after 16 years. Mr. Dale was a lifetime member of the VFW and a was member of the Moose Lodge in Anniston. He enjoyed golf and playing in the Sunny King Classic each year. He loved spending time with his family and enjoyed new cars. He is preceded in death by his parents, Thurman R. Dale and Nancy S. Dale; a brother, Thurman Harold Dale; and his grandparents, Frank E. Dale, Mamie Crawley Dale, Floy Goble Smith Hilderbrand, and Clint Hilderbrand. Mr. Dale is survived by his wife, Sandra Lee Duckworth Dale; daughters, Kimberly Denise Dale, Sherry Lynn Dale Romanoff (Mark), and Nicole Dale Peoples (Robb); seven grandchildren, Kimberleigh Scot Peeler Powell (Cody), Jessica Lynn Shuffler Gonzalez (Matt), Bradley Belmont Shuffler, Krista Danielle Shuffler Metcalf (Clint), Savannah Lehn Peeler Reep (Kelly), Elizabeth Grace "Gracie" Peoples, and Robert Dale Peoples; nine great grandchildren, Kelsey Powell, Colton Powell, Kinsley Powell, Madison Gonzalez, Mara Grace Gonzalez, Alyssa Shuffler, Morgan Shuffler, Samuel Isaac Metcalf, and Charlee Lynn Metcalf; a brother, Paul Andrew Dale (Elaine); and his constant companion, Charlie Girl.
