Coach Evans was a fine man of God who will be missed by every life that he touched in his lifetime. Coach was not only an educator and a ball coach but also a community advocate who tried to make everything around him better. Coach was my very first football coach and his zeal for the game inspired me to bigger and better things. To his family weeping may endure for a night but be assured that when coach got to the pearly gates he was escorted in with a job well done. Rest well Coach

Coach Evans was teaching when I got my first job with Calhoun County Schools and assigned to White Plains High School. He always would boast that he introduced me to my husband and that I was all the better for him doing so. He was right. We have been together 40 years.
May the love of friends and family carry you, the Evans family, through your grief.
