Anna Monticchio
Long Hill
Anna Monticchio, of Long Hill, NJ passed away on Wednesday, December 26th at Overlook Hospital in Summit, NJ. Mrs. Monticchio was born in Newark, NJ. After marrying her late husband, Romeo Monticchio, she moved to Warren, NJ in 1961 where she lived for 25 years. She was a resident of Long Hill, NJ at the Lounsberry Meadows Community until her passing. Anna worked at ShopRite for more than 20 years, until her retirement in 1996. Anna loved to cook for her family and friends, and was always the life of the party.
Anna is predeceased by her husband, Romeo in 1967 and her daughter Joan in 2004. She is survived by her son, Robert J. Monticchio, and his wife Lydia, of Watchung NJ; her sister Lena Bonito, and four loving grandchildren, Robert J. Monticchio Jr., Catherine A. Hallock and her husband James, Kellie Cornelison, and Kimberly Cornelison.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, December, 31, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Wilson Memorial Church followed by interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2-6 pm at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung. To send condolences, please go to www.higginsfuneralhome.com.
