Ann (Colucci) Tegen, 89 of Waretown died on January 13, 2013 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Roselle Park, she lived in Elizabeth before moving to Waretown in 1997. Mrs. Tegen was a self-employed business woman who owned and operated her beauty shop in Roselle Park known as Ann's Beauty Parlor. Ann is predeceased in 2006 by her husband Robert of 56 years. Surviving are her son, R. Wayne Tegen and his fiancée Cathy; her brother and sister-in-law, Fred and Mary Colucci. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be Tuesday, Jan. 15th, from 2-4 and 7-9pm at the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 270 Atlantic City Blvd., Bayville. Funeral Wednesday, 10am at the funeral home, before celebrating an 11:30am Funeral Mass at St. Mary's Church, 747 West Bay Ave., Barnegat 08005. Entombment will follow to St. Mary Cemetery, Barnegat.

We are so sorry to hear about one of our best friend Ann. We are also sorry that we could not pay our last respects to Ann who Herb & Michele loved dearly.

I was so sorry to read about your mom's passing, Wayne. I will always remember her for the sweet and thoughtful cards she sent to me and my mother, Rosalie. She never, ever missed a birthday or holiday...it was amazing! I hope happy memories of your mom and dad and all the good times they shared with so many will help you at this time.

Wayne, I am very sorry to hear of the passing of your Mom. I went to school with you in grammar school in Elizabeth and my mom was best friends with your mom. You were my first boyfriend. I am sending prayers your way.
