Deanna Rose Obituary

Deanna Bottone Rose

AGE: 53 • Middletown

Deanna Bottone Rose, 53, of Middletown NJ, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loved ones on September 1, 2017.

Deanna was born in Belleville, NJ on November 16, 1963 and lived her entire life in Middletown. She attended New Monmouth School, Thorne Junior High School and graduated from Middletown High School North in 1982. She attended Rider College in Lawrenceville where she graduated in 1986 with a degree in Business and Industrial Relations, played on the Women's Varsity Tennis Team, and made lifelong friends.

She has spent her entire 30 year career working side by side with her father at Bottone Realty Group as a Broker/Associate, where she was awarded honors in the NJAR Million Dollar Club, and achieved the NJAR Circle of Excellence Sales Award for many years making her one of the very top Realtors in NJ.

Deanna was a huge sports fan. You could always find her at any local high school, travel or recreational sporting event, coaching or cheering on her son, her nieces and nephews, and many local friends' children. Every Sunday during football season, you would find her at the Meadowlands where she was a season ticket holder for both the NY Giants and the NY Jets.

Deanna was a lover of life, seizing every opportunity to travel, party, dance, take a boat ride, go to the beach, laugh with friends, make a connection, smile, pray, and live. A large network of close friends can attest to her many adventures and the quality of her friendship. She will be missed beyond words.

Above all else, she loved spending time with her son Ryan… making him pancakes every morning, coaching his sports, attending football games together, and sharing many vacations and activities.

Deanna was predeceased by her grandparents, Angelo and Antoinette Bottone, and John Stoye and Rena Brown. She is survived by her parents, Anthony J. and Margaret A. Bottone, her cherished son, Ryan A. Rose, her fiancé Robert M. Rigby, and her sisters and brothers-in-law, Patricia and Eric Manuelli, and Lara and Dave Krall. She was dearly loved by her niece and nephews David, Christian, Kara, John, and Andrew, and many children of family and friends that considered her their other mom or Aunt De. Our family is eternally grateful to her caregiver, Marika Huna.

Deanna will be reposing at Evergreen Memorial Funeral Home, 1735 Highway 35 North, Middletown, Wednesday, September 6th from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, September 7th, 10:30 am at Saint Mary, Mother of God Church, 19 Cherry Tree Farm Road, Middletown NJ 07748.

In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Deanna Bottone Rose Memorial Scholarship Fund, P.O. Box 572, Middletown, NJ 07748.

I remember De from childhood, riding bikes and playing in her back yard with Patti and Kari and some of the neighborhood kids. Deanna was a natural born leader. Whether she was organizing us into teams for kickball or to wash our hands off with the garden hose before eating our snacks. She took charge and took care of everything for EVERYbody in the best way possible...even when she was 6 years old. De got me involved with the Swim team at Peninsula House Beach Club when we were in Jr High school when I was so lazy, content to just "body surf" when the ocean waves were perfec,t but she would have none of that! I owe my Middletown North and Rutgers swim team "hutzpah" all to DeDe. that summer she and Lara DiM. taught me all about the Yankees and Billy Martin! Those girls were the real baseball experts and made my summers at P. House really fun and social. Heaven is so much brighter with her, but earth is dim and we all feel the loss. So sorry for such a great girl, and neighborhood "one of us" to be absent. Prayers to her son and sisters and Parents.

Very sorry for her family's loss. I went to middle school and high school with her. It was not until senior year did we find out we were born on the same day. I thought of her every year on Nov. 16 after that. I will continue to think of her and send my prayers to her family for strength to move forward. She was always smiling and that is what I will always remember her for. She was a sweet heart and always to kind to all. You will be missed Dee. Rest in peace and now you have your health back. Heaven received another angel just don't go changing too much while your there. God Bless you.
