James Jude Gebhardt
AGE: 54 • Wall
James Jude Gebhardt, 54 of Wall, NJ passed away after a four-year battle with leukemia on January 16, 2017 at the Hackensack University Medical Center, NJ. He was born in Neptune and was raised in Farmingdale before moving to Wall. He was dedicated to assisting individuals with autism and developmental disabilities by working as a supervisor of Search Adult Activities in Ocean, NJ for 25 years.
James was predeceased by his sister in 2016. He is survived by his partner of 32 years, three brothers and four sisters including many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday January 26, 2017 at 3:30 p.m at St. Paul's United Methodist Church 714 Herbertsville Road, Brick, NJ. 08724. In memory of James donations can be made to Search Day Program 73 Wickapecko Drive, Ocean, NJ 07712. Internment will be at St. Paul's Garden of Remembrance after the service. The funeral arrangements were handled by the Johnson-McGinley Funeral Home of Wall, N.J.

Jim was a great guy and a really great friend. I remember him as always in a happy mood and enthusiastic about life, and also dedicated to his work.
