Lawrence Lynch Jr
AGE: 61 • Shrewsbury
Lawrence Lynch Jr., 61, of Shrewsbury passed away Wednesday, May 31st.
A husband, father, son, brother and friend to many, Larry loved to laugh and had a quick wit. His wealth of knowledge on almost any topic was enlightening and entertaining. Larry had an engaging personality and a story for every occasion.
His passion for the printed word was evident in his 30 plus year career as a Madison Avenue newspaper ad executive and the stacks of books all around the house.
He was as equally passionate about seafood, especially his love of crabs. His perfect weekend included family and friends sitting around the kitchen table cracking crabs, beers and jokes.
Larry was a man of character, humor, loyalty, compassion and love. He will be so deeply missed by all his friends and family.
Lawrence is predeceased by his Brother Kevin.
He is survived by his beloved wife Kathleen (nee: Bischoff), his loving children Adam, William and Claire, his parents Lawrence J. and Betty Lynch, his brother Brian and his wife Donna, and a large extended family including many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Celebration of his life will be at the John E. Day Funeral Home 85 Riverside Ave. Red Bank, NJ on Sunday, June 4th from 3 pm - 7pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 am, Monday, June 5th 2017 at St. Anthony of Padua R.C.Ch. I am Dave Norman's sister and I knew Larry when he and Dave lived in Red Bank together. I always liked Larry and want to let you know how very sorry I am to hear this sad news. He was always fun and a special friend to Dave, and from all the pictures online I see how people loved him, and he loved them. What a special guy who will be sorely missed.

LL, I pray you are at peace knowing you leave an incredible legacy behind in your 3 beautiful children and wife Kathy. As well as all of the laughter, friendship and memories we all share when we think of you. You were like a brother to me, Mike and Jeff growing up. The memories of summer parties, seafood, a lot of old bay, cold beer and Eric Clapton on the stereo will always be with us. Along with, I'm sure, the countless other friends and family you entertained.
RIP brother.

Oh the memories of Larry Lynch.
Larry simply was a brilliant and learned humorist, good friend and a man with a thirst for good times.
We lost track of each other. For this I feel shame. But he is loved by so many and will be missed. And frankly, I must go shed a tear for his family's loss. May peace come soon for you all.
Larry, I love you Man.

Larry was one of a kind....compassionate, humorous always and a great friend. We always enjoyed his pop-in visits; they would just lift your spirits. He was like another son to me and I am deeply saddened by his passing. Kathy, you put together a lovely pictorial tribute....remember those good times. May Peace be with you and all of the family.
