Lois Pezold
Millstone Twp. - Lois Kerwin Pezold, 85, of Millstone Township passed away on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at home. Mrs. Pezold was born in Freehold and was a lifelong resident of the Freehold area.
She was a member of St. Peter's Episcopal Church, Freehold, the Women of St. Peter's Church, and a volunteer at the church's thrift shop.
She was predeceased by her husband, Paul P. Pezold in 1998, and a brother, Lance Cpl. Robert Kerwin, U.S.M.C. in 1953
Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Robert Pezold and Teri; a daughter and son-in-law, Mary Lynn and Frank Federici; four grandchildren, Gena Wagner and husband Jay, Tori Scoffield and husband Gary, Kyle Smith and husband Taber, and Robert Pezold, II and wife Katherine Minarik; and six great grandchildren, Daniel, Lauren, Aidan, Bryson, Lillian, and Lois.
The viewing will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Wednesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at St. Peter's Church, 33 Throckmorton Street, Freehold on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. followed by interment at Maplewood Cemetery, Freehold. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to St. Peter's Church Memorial Fund or Neurology Department Research at Columbia Presbyterian University Medical Center would be appreciated.
