Ralph P. Johnson, 78, died peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on February 24, 2013. Born in College Point, NY, Ralph resided in Freehold, NJ before retiring to Smithville, NJ and most recently resided Middletown, NJ. Ralph was employed at 3M as an engineer, retiring after 30 years. Ralph served during the Korean War with the US Navy from 1952-1955. He was a co-founder and coach of the Freehold Soccer League.

Ralph was predeceased by his loving wife Jessie Smith Johnson in 2001. He is survived by his three beloved children, son Neil and wife Cherie of Oro Valley, AZ; two daughters, Heather and husband Brian Clark of Colts Neck and Kerri and husband Chris Michels of Ada, MI; and by his beloved brother Roger of Centennial, CO. Ralph will also be missed by his eight grandchildren: Lauren, Brian, Kerrin and Thomas Clark; Haley and Brady Johnson and Grayson and Liam Michels.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 26th, 4:00-8:00 PM with a service at 7:30 at the Thompson Memorial Home, 310 Broad St., Red Bank. A private family burial will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery, Mays Landing, NJ.
