Raymond Reddington, 53, of Aberdeen, passed away suddenly on Sunday April 27, 2014 at home. He was born in Jersey City where he spent most of his life until moving to Aberdeen 11 years ago. Raymond attended St. Peter's Prep and was a graduate of NYU's Tisch School earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) with a major in Film and Television. While at NYU, he wrote and directed a television profile on Mad Magazine. Upon graduation, he worked at CBS as a program scheduler.

Raymond was known by his friends and family for his generosity, creativity, and dry wit. He was loved dearly by his six nieces and nephews for whom he took painstaking care to select the perfect gift for each of them at Christmas. Ray's life truly exemplified the Biblical proverb "it is more blessed to give than to receive".

He leaves behind his parents Martin and Nora Reddington, a sister and brother-in-law Susan and Kenneth Davis of Colts Neck, 2 brothers and sisters-in-law Robert and Anna Reddington of Sayreville and Sean and Hollie Reddington of Montclair, nieces and nephews, Caitlin, Kenneth, Robert, Paige, Grace and Callum.

Visitation will be held on Thursday May 1, 2014 from 5pm - 9pm at the Waitt Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 501 Highway 79, Morganville, NJ 07751. A funeral mass will take place on Friday May 2, 2014 at 10AM in St. Clement Church, Matawan, followed by a committal at Holy Cross Cemetery and Crematory, East Brunswick.
