Susan D. Pooler, age 70 of Long Branch, died Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at home. Susan was born in Copenhagen Denmark and had lived in Long Branch for 50 years. For 33 years she was a dispatcher for the Long Branch Police Dept. Prior to dispatching she was a school teacher at Garfield School in Long Branch for 10 years.
She was predeceased by her parents, Peter and Bertha Meic and her brother, Peter Meic. Surviving are her daughter, Catherine Pooler; her brother, Michael Meic and a granddaughter, Ember Pooler.
There are no visiting hours. Memorial donation may be made to an organization close to her heart: the Aids Healthcare Foundation, 6255 W.
