Crystal Marine bait and tackle was truly one of a kind.... Just like George. He will be dearly missed by the entire fishing community at the Point Pleasant canal. His dry sense of humor was second to none.

My wife and I worked with George, at Fort Monmouth, in the nineties. It was sad to hear of his passing and especially his battle with cancer. Our deepest condolences to Daura and George’s children.

My husband and I first met George twenty odd years ago through Daura. We were able to enjoy a few trips to one of his favorite places Atlantic City what fun memories we also had the pleasure of going out on his boat You fought one heck of a battle to the end. Till we meet again.

My deepest condolences to your family, on the passing of your dad. I worked with him for many years and become a partner in his lobster business. I just want you to know, your Dad was liked by everyone that knew and worked with him at Fort Monmouth. After our retirement, I would come by his bait shop and sit outside and reminisce, like the two old men we were. I will miss him deeply. His friend Bill Bell
