AGE: 90 • Holiday City Carefree, Berkeley Township
George E. Paris 90, of the Holiday City Carefree section, Berkeley Township died on Monday December 29, 2014 at Community Medical Center, Toms River, NJ. Born in Franklin, NJ he lived in East Millstone and East Brunswick, NJ before moving to Holiday City in 2002. George was a US Army Air Corps Veteran. He worked for Princeton University as a Purchasing Agent for the Biology Dept. He was a Volunteer Firefighter for many years for the East Millstone Fire Co. A dedicated Mets fan, avid bowler and loved playing bocce, darts and shuffleboard in Holiday City.
Surviving is his loving wife Lilian nee Head. 4 sons George Paris of Florida, Alfred Stashek of Manchester, NJ, James York of East Brunswick, NJ and Barry York of Whiting, NJ. 2 daughters Linda Latzsch of Toms River, NJ and Bonnie Skurka of Florida. 20 Grandchildren and 15 Great Grandchildren. Family and friends are invited to attend the viewing on Friday January 2, 2015 from 2-4 & 7-9pm at The Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals 145 St Catherine Blvd. Toms River, NJ. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday 9am at the Funeral Home with burial to follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Millstone, NJ. Condolences may be sent to www.ryanfuneralhome.com
