Francis J. Corley

Middletown - Francis J. Corley, 89, passed away peacefully September 11, 2018, at Bayside Manor. He was born January 24, 1929, to John and Agnes (Donovan) Corley in Manhattan where he grew up with five siblings. He was a graduate of Manhattan College and proudly served in the US Army during the Korean War.

Frank, as he was known to many, moved to Middletown in 1957 where he and his late wife Kathleen (nee Gittens ) raised their family.

Frank is survived by his large, close knit family. Surviving are his six children, Kathie Moore (Tony), Furlong, PA; Michael and his fiance, Madge McGlone, Red Bank; Nancy Gray (George) Montgomery, TX; Ginger Helm (Tim) Bayville; John (Yuko) Corley, Morganville; Barbara Cwalina (Paul) Marietta, GA, 15 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Also surviving him is his brother, Larry Corley, of Bayside Manor and many nieces and nephews.

Services will be private at a later date.

The Manhattan College alumni community shares the grief, and is now praying for our fellow alumni and the family at this time. The Alumni Office has been informed. As well as the Jasper Jottings community that I personally can reach. We are all a little poorer now. "No man is an island, entire of itself ... any mans death diminishes me". We are sorry for your loss.
