Hazlet - Adeline Joyce Springsteen, fondly known as "Joyce", 84, formerly of Hazlet, presently of Jackson, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, December 9, 2017. She was born Adeline Joyce Walling on June 12, 1933 in Hazlet, where she grew up, raised her family, and lived for the majority of her life. Joyce was a loving mother, sister, and grandmother. She was always happiest when she was surrounded by her family and they were her greatest joy throughout her life.

She was predeceased by her parents, Earl and Helen (Terry) Walling, her sisters, Gladys Mason and Marion Donnelly, her son-in-law, Marty Mika, and her daughter-in-law, Natalie Springsteen. Joyce is survived by her loving children, Sharon Mika, Deborah Springsteen, and Henry Springsteen, her dear sister, Helen Brown, and her cherished grandchildren, Adam Bopf and his wife, Angela, Steven Mika and his wife, Ariana, Eric Mika, and Katelyn Springsteen, along with her treasured great grandson, Alexander Bopf. Joyce will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Saturday, December 16th from 12 to 2 pm, with a prayer at approx. 1:30 PM, at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Hwy/Rt. 35 N, Hazlet. In respect of Joyce's wishes, she will be privately cremated, and her cremains will be interred at Green Grove Cemetery in Keyport. In lieu of flowers, donations in loving memory of Joyce to The Dementia Society of America, www.dementiasociety.org, would be greatly appreciated.
