AGE: 81 • Toms River

Agatha (Aggie) Marie Vicari (nee Carollo), on May 12, 2017, Our Lord put out his hand and said "come to me and I will give you rest", and with her loving children by her side, she put her hand in His.

Aggie was born on August 26, 1935 in Charleroi, PA to James Michael and Louise (nee LeVigne) Carollo. Aggie grew up and spent her youth in Bellville and Bloomfield before moving down the shore to Brick and then Toms River.

Predeceased by her loving husband Carmen "Sarge" Vicari in 1989, her beloved son Frank James Vicari 1984 and her dear brother Salvatore Andrew Carollo.

Surviving are her devoted children Rosanne Vicari Sefick and James Michael Vicari and his wife, her loving daughter-in-law, Kristine Murtagh Vicari. Her three adoring grandsons James Michael Vicari Jr., Robert Alexander Sefick, and Frank Carmen Vicari. Many cherished nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins, lifelong friends, and coworkers.

Since 1988 Aggie has been an office manager for Ocean County Medical Labs to present (29 years).

A life well lived of integrity, the truest generosity, and deepest loyalty. A life well lived with a deep but quiet faith. A life well lived with a smile always, filled with boundless humor, and an infectious laugh. A life well lived of creating memories for her family that was selflessly unmatched and will forever be cherished. A life of being present in the lives of those she loved deeply and so genuinely. Our Aggie was simply and truly good at all that really matters in life and will be greatly missed but will eternally remain a light that guides all those that were blessed to know her.

Visiting will be Tuesday 2:00pm to 8:00pm at the Silverton Memorial Funeral Home 2482 Church Rd., Toms River. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Wednesday 10:30am at St. Joseph's RC Church, Toms River, arrive at the funeral home 9:00am.
