AGE: 94 • Berkeley Twp.

Alvin R. Beilin, age 94, passed away of natural causes on Wednesday, September 6, 2017.

He is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Marion, and only son, Robert.

Alvin is also survived by four granddaughters; Robyn, Kristen, Katie and Kai Li and eight great grandchildren, Jordan, Avery, Tatum, Henry, Noah, Hayden, Finnely and Audrey.

Also surviving is his sister in law Mary, her husband, Tufi Joseph, and his nieces, Kathy, Ana, Zoe Emily and Laura and nephews Michael, Douglas, and Michael.

Alvin was born in Jersey City, NJ and attended St. Michael's High School in Union City, NJ, where he lettered in Football and Baseball.

Alvin worked for the Hackensack Water Company, a Bergen County Utility, in construction for 40 years.

He was a US Marine Corps veteran, serving in WWII and the Korean War.

Alvin was a communicant of St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church, Berkeley Twp. He was a previous member of the Knights of Columbus and the Holy Name Society.

Alvin was an avid sports fan. He was a quiet and unassuming man dedicated and loyal to his friends, former co-workers and loving to every member of his family.

The family will receive friends Sunday 2-4 & 7-9pm at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 145 St. Catherine Blvd., Toms River. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Monday 10:30am at St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church, Berkeley Twp. Burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ.
