Amy Christine Lehr Obituary
Amy Christine Lehr

AGE: 47 • Brielle

Amy Christine Carter Lehr, 47, of Brielle and formerly of Danville, CA, passed away peacefully on March 26, 2017. Born in Torrance, CA to Rick & Judy Carter. Amy's was your quintessential Southern California Beauty. Amy graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from San Diego State University. It was at college that she met her soulmate, Matt. Amy then applied her wit, spirit, and smarts to successfully climb the ranks in multiple companies within the beverage industry. While their love story has been one for the ages, it was not complete until Amy fulfilled her true role in life, as mother to her beloved son, Carter George.

Amy, Matt, and Carter moved to Brielle in 2014. Her passion for her family and community could be seen immediately, as she immediately dedicated herself to the Brielle PTO, serving as Treasurer. Amy's decision to move to Brielle, and become an integral part of the community has laid an excellent foundation for her son's future happiness and security. Her drive and spirit endeared her to all she met, and although her death has left a whole in our hearts, her memory is the gift that will love on in our hearts forever.

Amy leaves her adoring husband, Matt and her son, Carter, of Brielle. She leaves her parents, Rick & Judy Carter of Danville, CA, her brother Brad; sister Jennifer and her children Cole and Abbey all of CA. Amy also leaves her In-laws Bob & Linda Lehr, of Lavallette, as well as her brother-in-law Todd Lehr and his wife Cindy and children Kai, Noa, and Rayn all of San Diego, CA. Amy will also be missed by her wide circle of friends that spans the entire United States.

A Celebration of her Life will be offered at Jersey Shore Calvary Chapel, in Point Pleasant, at 11AM on Saturday, April 8th. All are welcome to attend.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to an Education fund for Amy's son, Carter George Lehr. Checks may be made to Matt Lehr, c/o O'Brien Funeral Home, 2028 Hwy 35 Wall, NJ 07719.
