Anna H. Pepe

AGE: 93 • Brick

Anna H. Pepe nee Bove, 93, passed away peacefully on November 11, 2013 at the Chelsea at Brick. Born in Newark, NJ to the late Giuseppe and Chiarina Bove, she was a lifelong resident of Newark before moving to Brick in 2000. Anna served her country by working at IT&T during World War II, soldering electrical boards for the U.S. Navy. With her acquired skill, she went on to work for Westinghouse Lab Division in Newark for over 30 years; Anna volunteered her time to the Newark Community Center and was a former member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the V.F.W.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charles Pepe in 1988, her dear son Charles, Jr. in 1951, her siblings Josephine, Helen, Alphoso, Umberto, Anthony, and her twin sister Carmella, and her grandson Michael. Surviving are her loving sons Robert Pepe and wife Ruth of Point Pleasant, and Donald Pepe and wife Nancy of Harmony, PA; her cherished grandchildren, Matthew (Sondra), Douglas (Kate), Jason, and Jaclyn(Ben), and her five great grandchildren, Madeleine, Charlie, Henry, Teddy, and Matilda.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 14, 2013 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00PM at the O'Brien Funeral Home, 505 Burnt Tavern Road, Brick. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00AM on Friday, November 15th at St. Dominic R.C. Church, Brick. Entombment will follow at Glendale Cemetery, Bloomfield, NJ.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Anna's memory to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 262 Danny Thomas Pl, Memphis, TN 38105
