AGE: 98 • Brick

Annamae Hearn, age 98 of Brick, NJ passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Monday, August 28, 2017. Annamae was born and raised in Astoria Queens, NY on December 12, 1918 to the late John and Margaret Green. Until raising her family, Annamae worked as a legal secretary for the Metropolitan Life Insurance Company. Along with her husband, the late John Hearn, they raised their family in Flushing, NY until relocating to Greenbriar II. in Brick 33 years ago. A devout catholic, Annamae was an active parishioner of St. Dominic's RC Church and a member of their Rosary Altar Society and Catholic Daughters. For many years, Annamae was the president of the Greenbriar II. recreation and activities committee.

Annamae is preceded in death by her late husband, John P. Hearn in 1993, by her sister Margaret Crawford, and by her brothers, John, Joe and Jimmy Green.

She is survived by her daughters and their husbands: Mary (Larry Langan), Meg (Tommy Carton), Brenda (Mike Henson); by her grandchildren, Thomas Carton (Jenn), Patrick, Brian and Sean Carton, Maura Langan, Deirdre Sperduti (Joe), Tim, Eileen, Colleen, and Johnny Langan, Mikayla, Daniel and Kevin Henson; by her great grandchildren Madelyn and Ben Carton and Keeleigh and Brady Sperduti; and by her many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive relatives and friends for visitation on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9pm at Colonial Funeral Home, 2170 Hwy. 88 Brick, NJ 08724. A Mass of Christian burial will be offered 10:00am, Friday at St. Dominic's RC Church, Brick, NJ. The interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Lakewood, NJ.
