Asbury Park - Anthony "Duke" Falco, 96, of Asbury Park, passed away Saturday March 31 surrounded by his family. Born on Nov. 8, 1921 at Fitken Hospital in Neptune, Duke grew up in Asbury Park and attended Bangs Avenue Grammar School. He graduated from Asbury Park High School in 1941.

He served four years with the Marines in the Pacific theatre during World War II.

He is predeceased by his parents, Joseph & Jessie Falco; sisters, Genevieve, Lucy, Vera, Violet; and brothers, Joseph & Garrett. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Brown; two sons, Joseph & John; grandchildren, Rudy, Nicholas, Michael & Nicolina; great-grandchildren, Sophia & Michael; his sister, Delores Ballerino and brother-in-law Michael Ballerino; sister-in-laws Mary Lou and Joyce; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be from 2:00 PM. to 4:00 PM. and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Wednesday April 4 at Francioni, Taylor and Lopez Funeral Home, 1200 Tenth and Atkins Avenues, Neptune. A funeral mass will be held Thursday April 5 at 10:30 AM at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Asbury Park. Interment will be at Mount Calvary Cemetery, Neptune.
