Berkeley Township - Anthony Edward Gould, 77, of Holiday City at Berkeley Township, NJ, passed away at home on January 18, 2018, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Charleston, West Virginia to Edward and Rhea Gould. Anthony lived in Elizabeth, NJ, before moving to Berkeley Township 35 years ago. He was a welder with the Boilermakers Local 28 in Union where he was employed for 42 years, retiring in 2005. After retirement, Anthony worked at Shop Rite in Manchester for 5 years. He was a Volunteer First Responder in Holiday City in Toms River and a member of Jesus is Lord Fellowship Church of Toms River. He was a dedicated Yankee fan. Anthony was a devoted husband and family man and a very hard worker. He was both the joy and center of his family's life and will be dearly missed by all.

Anthony was predeceased by his son Brian O'Dell in 2000 and his grandson Sean Patrick Westbury. He is survived by his wife and true love of 48 years, Carol (Lorcheim) Gould; and his four daughters: Linda Westbury and her husband Robert of Linden, Debra Caruso of Toms River and Sharon Orsi of Linden and Lillian Regina Gould of the Bronx, NY. He is also survived by his six grandchildren: Darrell, Desiree, Amy, William, Hillary and Brian; and ten great-grandchildren: Alex Jr., Tyler, Dylan, Liam, Daniel, Jack, Makenzie, Danny "Rocco", Lucy and Samuel.

Visitation will be Monday, January 22, from 4 to 8 p.m., with a funeral service at 6:00 p.m. at Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main Street, Toms River, NJ 08753. Final prayers will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home. A Committal Service will follow at Ocean County Memorial Park in Toms River. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations in Anthony's name to the at www.alz.org.
