Anthony Nappe, Jr., 82, of Silver Park Westerly, Berkeley Twp., NJ passed away Saturday, December 17, 2016 at Ocean Medical Center, Brick, NJ.

Born in Brooklyn, NY, he lived in Toms River before moving to Berkeley Twp. 6 years ago.

Anthony was owner of Major Appliance in Toms River for many years before his retirement.

He was a US Army Koran War Veteran, attaining the rank of Corporal, and was a member of the Silver Ridge Park Westerly VFW Post 8352, where he served as a Member Advocate, the American Legion Post 348, Brick, NJ, and the Jackson AM VETS.

Anthony was a former member of the Brick Moose Lodge and St. Justin RC Church.

He was predeceased by his son, Anthony Nappe III, and his daughter Victoria Sohn.

Anthony is survived by his wife of 35 years Kathleen (nee Gilligan) Nappe, his children and their spouses, Toni Ann & John Scanlan of Toms River, Christine & Paul Pullara of Budd Lake, NJ, Kevin & Lauana Paradine of Abingdon, MD, April & William Hawkins of Ogdensburg, NY, Jennifer & Anthony Trenta of Toms River and Bonnie Jo Nappe of Howell, a sister Marie Razzano of Medford, Long Island, NY, 26 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Tuesday 2-5pm at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 145 St. Catherine Blvd., Toms River. Interment will be private.
