Barbara "Bobbi" Turner (nee Kilcomons), of Spring Lake, passed away on Monday, November 28, 2016. Barbara was born in South Amboy, one of 11 children to William P. and Mary (nee Dunn) Kilcomons. She resided in both South Amboy and Sayreville before moving to Spring Lake. Barbara was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother as well as a devout Catholic.

In addition to her parents, Barbara was predeceased by her beloved husband, John A. Turner, Sr., in 2005; and her 4 siblings- Thomas, Norman, Roy and Sr. Mary Theresa Kilcomons. She is survived by her son, Maj. John A. Turner, Jr. (USMC, Ret.), and his wife, Charlene, of Blue Bell, PA, and by her son, Paul K. Turner, of Spring Lake. Barbara is also survived by her grandson, John A. Turner III, and his wife, Jessica, of Germantown, TN, and her two great-grandchildren, Jack and Jillian. She also leaves her siblings, Joseph of Seaside Park, Richard of South Amboy, Daniel of Sayreville, John of East Brunswick, Warren of Spring Lake with whom she lived, and Eddie of Cape Coral, FL.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Catharine's Church, Spring Lake, on Saturday, December 3, 2016, at 9 AM. The burial ceremony will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Barbara's memory may be made to the St. Vincent DePaul Society, c/o St. Mark's Church, 215 Crescent Parkway, Sea Girt, NJ 08750, or to Mercy Center, 1106 Main Street, Asbury Park, NJ 07712.
