Bernard F. Sledzik, born on March 12, 1919 has passed into eternal life on Sunday, August 13, 2017.

He was a United States Army veteran serving during world War II. His Polish heritage was in demand as an interpreter. Living in Jersey City after the war, he moved to East Brunswick in the early 60's. Upon retiring he moved to Toms River, where he enjoyed many great years.

He was predeceased by his beloved, wife Lucy and son Dennis.

He is survived by his two beloved granddaughters , Lori Sledzik-Bien and her husband Joseph, and Lynda Sledzik-Browne and her husband Michael. He leaves his great grandchildren, Jade and Abby Warner and William and Lia Sagarese and Michael ,Aidan, and Ava Browne.

Bernie as he was called, loved to watch football, baseball , and his Westerns. He also loved to play golf, bowl, go to bingo and play cards with the family. He was involved in numerous clubs throughout his 43 years in Holiday City of Berkeley.

The viewing will be held at Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main Street, Toms River, NJ. Visitation will be on Friday, August 18, 2017 from 10:00am -12:00pm.
