Brittany Letizia Obituary
Brittany Letizia

AGE: 30 • Laurence Harbor

Brittany Letizia, 30, died Monday, November 21, 2016, at home. She had lived in Laurence Harbor all her life.

Brittany was born with special needs that prevented her from doing most physical activities. On the other hand, Brittany had a full range of emotions that she shared with everyone. When she cried, it would break your heart. When she yelled, you wished she could talk and tell you what was wrong. When Britt smiled, she made your heart happy. When she laughed, you laughed with her because it felt so good.

Brittany enjoyed the simpler things in life: the sunshine on her face, rocking in her chair, sitting on the floor with Dad, holding Mom's hand on the couch watching soap operas, and the activity of friends and family around her.

We are sad for ourselves because we will really miss her. We are happy for Brittany because we believe she is in a place where she can do all the things she couldn't do here. Brittany can see the sun, the flowers, the sky, people, everything. She is able to hear the music and get up and dance to that music. She is able to talk and tell all our secrets and how she was loved. We can only imagine she has a lot to say.

Brittany was predeceased by her paternal grandparents, Joan and Steve Letizia.

She is survived by her parents Shirlee and Gary Letizia, her brother Matt Letizia and his wife Kristy, her nieces Kerri, Kara, Morgan, and Mattison. She is also survived by her maternal grandparents Shirley and Nick Tripolites. Brittany is also survived by her aunts, uncles, and cousins who loved her and will miss her.

At this time we do not plan to have a formal goodbye to Brittany. We would appreciate an email, a text, a call, or a visit. For those who feel the need to do more, please make a donation to the LADACIN Network (www.ladacin.org) in Wanamassa, where Brittany attended a program with people who truly cared about her.
