Christine Marie Corradino Obituary
Christine Marie Corradino

AGE: 96 • Brick

Christine Marie Corradino, 96, of Brick, died Saturday, April 22, 2017 at Ocean County Medical Center in Brick.

Christine was born the daughter of Sicilian immigrants in Passaic New Jersey. Her childhood was the quintessential Italian American upbringing. Raised in the heart of a hard working community that would help shape modern America.

She came of age at the dawn of WW2 and was one of the millions of woman who provided hope for a sweetheart who was off fighting. She married her husband Salvatore after he returned from the war, settled in Clifton and became the matriarch of a large loving family.

In the 1970's Christine and Salvatore relocated to Tuckerton where she helped raise her grandchildren before moving to Brick 15 years ago.

Her last years were spent vibrantly with her great-granddaughter embracing new ideas and technology. She was a woman of strength, style and grace. An inspiration to all who knew her.

Mrs. Corradino was pre-deceased by her husband Salvatore in 2007 and her grandson RJ Corradino. She is survived by her son, Randy and his wife, Holly, of Manasquan; daughters, Nikki Wilson of Manhattan, Christina Corradino and her husband, Michael Stark, of La Jolla, CA; grandchildren, Stephen and Michelle Wilson, Jon Wilson, Jonathan Christi and her great-granddaughter, Marielle Wilson.

Visitation will be on Friday, April 28, 2017 from 9:00 - 10:00am at the Neary-Quinn Funeral Home, 39 South Street, Manasquan, NJ. A Mass will follow at 10:30am at St. Denis Church in Manasquan. Entombment will be in St. Catharine Cemetery in Wall.
