Clara Mueller Queen

AGE: 92 • Sea Girt

Clara Mueller Queen, 92, of Sea Girt passed away peacefully at her residence on Friday January 20, 2017. Clara was born and raised in Manasquan, where she was a 1941 graduate of Manasquan High School, and a lifelong member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. Clara and her husband Bob had worked together side by side for many years while operating Mueller's Flowers and Gifts, Manasquan. Before moving back to Sea Girt, Clara and her husband had retired and lived for many years in Palm Coast, Florida.

Clara was predeceased by her cherished husband of 64 years, Bob Queen, and daughter Caroline; her 12 siblings, Caroline, Magdalena, George, Albert, Henry, Fritz, Elizabeth, Louise, Bertha, Anna, Charles, and Robert; and her parents, George and Caroline (nee Neuschwender) Mueller, who immigrated to this country from Lembach, Germany.

Clara was devoted to her large and loving family, and her memory will live on in her children and their spouses, Robert and Mary Kay Queen of Manasquan, Sharon and David Kregg of Sea Girt, Lois and Patrick Blake of Colts Neck and John Queen of Howell; her eight grandchildren Robert (Meghan) Queen, Ken (Michelle) Queen, Diane Queen, Sheila (Jeff) Wall, Stacy Kregg, Patrick (Erin) Blake, Erica (Joe Carr) Blake and Caroline Blake; her eleven great grandchildren, Jaime, Seth, Taylor, Codi, Austin, Sydney, Matthew, Jennifer, Tucker, Jordan and Nina; her three sisters Martha Dropchinski, Gretchen Andersen and Frieda Davis, all of Manasquan, and a brother Richard Mueller of Sea Girt; her dear friend Edna McCrohan, and many nieces and nephews.

Clara will always be remembered for her fun loving nature and joy of life.

She filled her life with love to her family and dedication to her church.

Family and friends are invited to attend a 'Celebration of Life" memorial service at 11a.m. on Saturday, January 28, 2017 at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 6 Osborn Avenue, Manasquan, NJ.
