Cynthia Liloia Obituary
Cynthia Liloia

AGE: 54 • Brick

Cynthia Liloia 54, of Brick, NJ died Thursday, March 9th in Hackensack, NJ, after a brief battle with a virulent strain of cancer. Beautiful, active and strong all of her life, she was hospitalized in early November to which she was never able to recover. She fought as hard as anyone could, reluctantly succumbing in the end. Born in Newark, NJ Cindy grew up in Bloomingdale, eventually moving to Bradley Beach, then to Brick. Cindy attended Butler High School where she was a cheerleader, gymnast, and still holds the record for Javelin to this day. She graduated with a degree in fashion from Berkley College, eventually starting a Hair and Nail Salon (Salon Topaz) in Point Pleasant in 1996. For those of us that knew her, she was a very social and strong willed person with a great eye for style. She loved life; people, and family; enjoyed vacationing and the outdoors, especially the beach and surfing. Most of all she was honest, generous, and kind hearted, with a special magnetism that made you want to be around her. Cindy loved her son Kyle very much, and was loved by many. She will be deeply missed.

Predeceased by her sister Donna, surviving are her son Kyle Aulisi, parents; Frank and Rachel Liloia, siblings; Nicholas and his wife Laurie, Frank A. and his wife Doreen, and Lisa, a niece; Paige Liloia, aunts, uncles, many cousins and dear friends. The immediate family would like to thank family and friends for all their support and kindness, especially the staff at Salon Topaz over the last 4 months.

Visiting will be Wednesday from 4 to 8pm at the O'Brien Funeral Home, 506 Burnt Tavern Rd (at Hwy 70), Brick, NJ. A Funeral Mass will be Thursday, 11am at The Church of St. Martha, 3800 Herbertsville Rd., Point Pleasant, NJ. Committal will be private.
