Whiting - Dolores, known by all as Dee, passed away in her sleep on August 10, 2018. Dee was born in Trenton, NJ and grew up in Piscataway NJ. She attended and graduated from New Brunswick High School in 1948. She was a secretary for most of her career, spending 15 years as a secretary at John Adams School.

She married Stephen Lorincz Jr. on September 23, 1950 who passed in 1992. They took up residence in Edison and then moved to North Brunswick in 1954. Dee and Steve spent many weekends in Cape May where you could find Dee reading on the beach while he fished. In 2003 she moved to Cape May where she enjoyed summers surrounded by family. In 2013 she sold the house in Cape May and moved to Crestwood Manor in Whiting, NJ.

Dee was active in her children's lives and in the community. She was a troop leader for Brownies and Girl Scouts and a den mother for Cub Scouts. She was also President of the Livingston Park PTA and instrumental in establishing the lending library at the school. She was President of the North Brunswick Women's Club, and served as President of the 4th District Education Department

She is pre-deceased by her mother Ann, father John Sr. and brother John Jr. Survived by her children Stephen III (Shelly) of Bridgewater, NJ, Mark (Betty Jean) Islamorada, FL, Ann Long of Kingwood, NJ and Eric of Verona, KY; 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at Gleason Funeral Home, 1360 Hamilton Street, Somerset, NJ 08873 on Monday, August 13th from 2-4 P.M. and 7-9 P.M.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 14th at 9:00 A.M. at St. Matthias Church in Somerset. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Piscataway.
