Doris K. Craig 95 of Manchester died Saturday February 11, 2017 at home. Born in Newark, she was a long time resident of Spring Lake before moving to Toms River in1981. She has been living in Manchester for the last 6 years. She was cofounder and director of the Craig Players, an amateur theater group in

Spring Lake, in the 1950's and 60's and feature writer for the Shore Thing magazine. She was a high school Math Teacher, drama director, school newspaper and yearbook mentor in several schools in Bergen, Monmouth and Ocean Counties. She was an Ocean County Realtor for 20 years. She was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church (Toms River) where she served on the church council and was chairman of the church worship and music committee. She is predeceased by her twin brother Howard, her son, Bobby, her husband, Robert and her parents, Carolyn and Howard Kreft. Surviving are her sons, Craig of Texas and Stephen of Beachwood, daughters, Lynn of Whiting and Wendy of Manchester and 12 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Memorial Gathering is Friday 5-7 PM with a 6:30 PM service at Oliverie Funeral Home
