Dorothy E. "Dottie" Foundos Obituary
Dorothy "Dottie" E. Foundos

AGE: 89 • Manchester

Dorothy "Dottie" Foundos, 89, of Manchester, NJ, passed away on Tuesday November 22, 2016, at her home with her daughter Teresa by her side. Born in Jersey City, Dottie resided in Budd Lake before moving to Manchester in 1992.

Dottie was more than our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she was our friend. She was independent, humorous, devoted and energetic. She was our nurturer, teacher, cheerleader, caregiver, and consoler. Our mom, Dottie, had many positive attributes but most importantly, she loved us unconditionally.

There will never be enough words to explain her importance in our lives, and what a powerful influence she continues to be.

All I can say is "thank you, mom for always believing in us, even when we didn't believe in ourselves."

Dottie was predeceased by her husband Panos in 2001. She is survived by her daughter Teresa (Troy) McMahon of Toms River, her two sons Edward (Eva) Foundos of Yardley, PA and Greg (Beverly) Foundos of Rock Hill, SC, her 12 loving grandchildren Molly, Alex, and Maggie McMahon, Corinne (Michael) Simpson, Stephanie, Cynthia (Mark) Calvani, James, Annika, Madelyn, Kurt and Kent Foundos and Jason Turner, and her 4 cherished great grandchildren; Alana DeJesus-McMahon, Beckett and Kelby Simpson and Noah Foundos.
