Edward V. Salmon

Belford - Edward V. Salmon, 79, of Belford, NJ, died on February 25, 2018 in Red Bank. He was born in Neptune and lived in Belford all of his life. Edward was a veteran of the US Navy serving 4 years (1959 to 1963) during the Vietnam War. Edward worked as a mason with his brother, Walter, at Walter Salmon Mason Contractor of Belford for over 40 years before retiring in 2000.

Surviving are his brother, Walter Salmon of Belford; two sisters, Lois and David Toole of Ohio, Verna and William Dugan of NY State; four nephews, David Salmon, Brad Toole, Jeff Toole, William Dugan IV; two nieces, Deana Salmon Citro, and Irene Dugan.

Edward was preceded in death by his parents, Chester Vernon and Helen Irene Salmon.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 28, 2018, from 10 to 11 am at John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, 115 Tindall Road, Middletown. Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday at 11 am at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Fair View Cemetery, Middletown.
