Jackson - Elizabeth Dzbenski 88 of Jackson died Sunday, December 24, at home surrounded by family. Born in Fords, she lived in Perth Amboy, Edison, South Plainfield, Piscataway and Manchester before moving to Jackson 3 years ago. She was a parishioner of St John's Church, Lakehurst, and a former parishioner of St Helen's Church, Edison, where she sang in the choir. She was an avid reader. She was employed for many years as a Sales Clerk for Sterns Department Store, South Plainfield. She is predeceased by her husband, Alfred Dzbenski, who died in 2013. Surviving are 2 daughters and their husbands, Linda R. and William H. Eckman Sr. of Jackson, Debbie Forziati and Ray Sr. of Lakewood, 4 grandchildren, Kristen E. Eckman, William H. Eckman Jr. and his fiancée, Danielle Sansone, Raymond Forziati Jr. and his wife, Heather, and Jennifer DaCosta, and her husband Cesar, and 5 great-grandchildren, Tyler, Oliver, Avery, Olivia and Tyler. Visitation is Thursday from 4-7 pm at Oliverie Funeral Home, 2925 Ridgeway Road, Manchester. Funeral Liturgy is Friday at 10:00 am at St John's Church, Lakehurst with entombment to follow at the Alpine Cemetery, Perth Amboy.
