AGE: 93 • Toms River

Etna T. Blair age 93 of Toms River died Sunday, December 4th. She worked for New Jersey Bell Telephone, Teaneck for 22 years before retiring. During World War II she worked for Wright's Aerospace, Paterson, helping with the war effort. She was a Past President of the Riverside Veterans Women's Auxiliary. Etna was a member of the 1st United Methodist Church of Toms River and the Holiday City South Women's, Singles, Social and 400 clubs. Born in Paterson she lived in Prospect Park and Rochelle Park before moving to Toms River 30 years ago. She was predeceased by her 1st husband Wesley Winkler in 1966 and her 2nd husband Donald Blair in 1996. Surviving are her sons Wesley Winkler and his wife Merrily of Wayne, Wayne Winkler and his wife Merry Law of Manasses, VA, 3 grandchildren Heather Winkler, Keith Winkler and his wife Victoria and Matthew Winkler and his wife Maya, 3 great-grandchildren June Kessler, Miles Winkler and Travis Winkler and her sister Ruth Tedford. Visiting will be Saturday from 10 am until a funeral service at 12 noon at the Quinn Hopping Funeral Home, 26 Mule Rd., Toms River. Cremation will be private. In lieu of flowers, please consider a contribution in her memory to the 1st United Methodist Church of Toms River Memorial Fund, 129 Chestnut St., Toms River, NJ 08753.
