Eva Louise Spahr, 53, of Point Pleasant Beach, NJ, born March 29, 1964, originally from Rutherford, NJ, passed away November 18, 2017 surrounded by family and friends. She was a Sales Executive for Integrated Analytical Laboratories in Randolph, NJ. She earned a partial scholarship for swimming to Seton Hall University, West Orange, NJ where she graduated with a B.S. in Biology. Eva went on to become an amateur bodybuilder where she competed in the National Physique Competition. Later on, Eva decided that she wanted to live at the beach, so she purchased a 100 year old boarding house and turned it into a successful guest house called The King and I in Point Pleasant Beach, NJ. Always looking for a new adventure, Eva decided to become a dog owner and got her 1st Boston Terrier, Woofles, and thereafter Peetie and Rocky Louise. She competed with Woofles in AKC Agility Trials and was a member of Jersey Agility Of Central Jersey and Bayshore Champion Dog Club. Eva is survived by her mother Louise S. Spahr (née DeAugusta), her sister Theresa M. Lawrence and her husband Clifton Lawrence of Lodi, NJ, her aunt Stella DeAugusta of New Milford, NJ, her uncle and aunt Joseph and Elaine DeAugusta of Prescott Arizona, her uncle Louis Michalski of Bayonne, NJ, and the 3 loves of her life her Boston Terriers Woofles, Peetie, and Rocky Louise

The family will receive relatives and friends for a viewing on Friday, November 24, 2017, from 2-4PM and 7-9PM at Colonial Funeral Home, 2170 Highway 88, Brick, NJ. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 9:30AM at St. Peter's RC Church, Point Pleasant Beach, NJ. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ.
