Filomena Martin, age 90, of Berkeley Township, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 5, 2017.

Born in Grottominardo, Italy, Filomena moved to the United States as a 17 year old bride in 1945 and settled in Newark with her first husband Jimmy Blasi. Everyone was welcomed at her table. Ingredients were only measured with love.

Surviving are her children Maggie Konow and her husband Frank, Philomena Mills and her husband David, Vincent Blasi and his wife Angelika, Neil Martin, Dawn Montecalvo and her husband Richard; grandchildren Frank Konow and his wife Misty, Christopher Blasi and Monica Martinez, Richard Blasi and his wife Kristen, Jessika Blasi, Alec, Emma and John Montecalvo; great-grandchildren Jude Konow, Jace and Cooper Blasi; brother Jerry Giannattasio and her sister-in-law Norma.
