Francine Dolan 71, of Wall, NJ died Friday, November 25, 2016 at Jersey Shore Univ. Medical Center, Neptune. Born and raised in Montreal, Canada, Francine immigrated from Canada at age 26 and started a life for herself. Francine was a longtime Monmouth County resident living in Ocean Township before moving to Wall in 1987. Francine worked for her family owned business, Dolan Sports in Farmingdale, NJ for 27 years as Vice-President/Chief Financial Officer until 2005 when the business closed. At age 61, Francine obtained a grant and went back to school attending the Advantage Career Institute for Computerized Accounting to increase her computer skills. She was later honored with an award from the Monmouth County Workforce Investment Board, highlighting her student experience and successful career transition. Francine started her second career as an Accounting Consultant working with St. Anselm Church, Tinton Falls and Colfax Pharmacy, Wall. She was a member of St. Anselm Church, where she was very involved with the church and with the families within the church community. She was an extremely outgoing, generous, warm hearted person who loved life and everyone she met. She enjoyed traveling, food, wine, cooking, gardening, landscaping, entertaining, art, and music especially Jazz. Francine was a huge sports fan, loved the Yankees. She was a naturally curious person who would read everything, she was interested in fashion and culture and kept up with the current times. Francine had many loving and dear friends as well as was an honorary mother and grandmother to many. She was willing to talk about anything with anyone, giving her time and love unconditionally.

Francine, known for her joie de vivre, traveled to Bordeaux, France this past Spring with her daughter, realizing a life-long dream.

Surviving are her husband Douglas Dolan, her daughter Nancy Gagne', and 2 sisters Manon Lauzier and Lise Lauzier.

Visiting will be Friday, December 2, from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the O'Brien Funeral Home, 2028 Hwy 35 at New Bedford Rd., Wall. A Funeral Service will be held at 8 PM during the visitation. Committal will be private. A Celebration Of Life Luncheon will be Saturday, December 3, from 12pm until 3 PM at The Mill, Spring Lake.
