Lt. Col., Francis Cutler (Retired)

Eatontown - Francis (Frank) Cutler, 91, Of Eatontown, NJ, succumbed to heart failure at The Gardens of Seabrook on the 24th of March, 2018. Frank was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. He attended The Ohio State University and was a lifelong avid Buckeye fan. He then made the US Army his career, proudly serving our country for many years. His assignments included Korea, Vietnam (twice), Japan, Germany, and many stateside posts. Following military retirement, he worked for the government in a civilian capacity at Ft. Monmouth.

Frank had always enjoyed working with dogs and was involved in dog obedience training and also especially enjoyed raising five puppies for the Seeing Eye Foundation. The Eatontown Lions Club was also a passion and was very involved with the Eatontown Foodbank as well as other Lions Club activities.

He is survived by his devoted wife JoAnne of 66 years, his three children, Michael, Karen, Kim, and three grandchildren, Kristin, Caitlin, and Taylor.

Visitation will be at the Braun Funeral Home, 106 Broad Street, Eatontown on Monday, March 26th from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Interment will be private in the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown, N.J.
