AGE: 82 • Jackson Twp.

Frank A. Troise, 82, of Jackson Township died January 5, 2017 at the Acute Care Specialty Hospital at Kimball, Lakewood. He was born in Brooklyn, N.Y.

He was vice president of William G. Moore & Son Inc. of Delaware, Freehold from 1980. One of the major projects he handled was logistics for the supply of all of the tropical wood used in the longest wooden bridge in the United States at Duxbury, Massachusetts. He was a master of numbers and worked with the engineers in Europe and the United States making the engineering conversion between metric and U.S. sizing.

Mr. Troise was a communicant of St. Aloysius R.C. Church, Jackson Township. He was a member of the American Railway Engineering and Maintenance of Way Association and the Institute of Bridge Integrity and Safety.

He was a member of the Westlake Community in Jackson and a member of the Duffers Club and Wine Tasting Group.

He is survived by his wife Audrey; four daughters, Shelly, Bernadette, Virginia, and Debbie; a son, George; a sister, Marie; a brother-in-law, Francis; 11 grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

The viewing will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Saturday and Sunday from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Aloysius Church, Jackson on Monday at 9:30 a.m. followed by interment at St. Gabriel's Cemetery, Marlboro Township. Memorial donations may be made to the , or Boys and Girls Town.
