Berkeley Township - Frank Vindigni, 89, of Holiday City West, Berkeley Twp., NJ, passed away Saturday, January 27, 2018 at Community Medical Center, Toms River.

A lifelong resident of Mount Vernon, NY, he moved to Berkeley Twp. 18 years ago.

Frank was a Fire Dispatcher for the City of Mount Vernon, NY for 45 years. He was a US Navy WWII veteran and was a parishioner of St. Joseph RC Church, Toms River.

Frank was an avid reader, gardener and NY Giants and Knicks fan but his greatest pleasure was time spent with his beloved wife, grandchildren and great grandchild.

Frank is survived by his wife of 67 years, Mary (nee Spear), his three sons Paul Vindigni and wife Tanja of Portland, OR, Pete Vindigni and wife Sue of Woodbury, CT and Frank Vindigni and wife Jane of Montvale, NJ, a brother George Vindigni of Mount Vernon, NY, a sister Camille Melin of St. Augustine, FL, seven grandchildren; Melissa, Samantha, TJ, Michael, Chris, Nick and Katie and one great grandchild; Taylor.

The family will receive friends Friday 2-4 & 7-9pm at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 145 St. Catherine Blvd., Toms River. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Saturday 10:00am at St. Joseph RC Church, Toms River.
